Auto-Save

Your takeoff work is automatically saved to the cloud as you go. You never need to manually save.

Steps

1. Make any change: draw a measurement, move a shape, run Auto Takeoff, edit a vertex, place a legend.
2. After about 1 second of inactivity, the system saves your work.
3. A "Saving..." indicator appears at the right end of the sheet tab bar, followed by "Saved" when complete.

Notes

• •Closing the page or switching to another browser tab or sheet starts saving your latest change right away instead of waiting. To be safe, wait for "Saved" before closing the browser.
• •If a save fails, it retries automatically a few times. Only if every retry fails will you see "Could not save. Check connection" in red; your work stays on screen and saving resumes as you keep working.
• •All takeoff data, styles, annotations, and legend positions are included in the auto-save.
