Exporting & Printing
Export your drawing with its visible takeoff overlays as a multi-page PDF, print selected sheets to a PDF, or export quantities to Excel. Estimate proposals are exported separately, from Export Proposal in the Summary view of the Estimates tab (PDF, Excel, or CSV).
Steps
- PDF: click the download icon in the toolbar ("Export PDF (all sheets)"). Each sheet is rendered with its overlays and the PDF downloads automatically.
- Print: click the print icon to download a PDF of the current sheet. Choose whether to include takeoffs and annotations, and color or grayscale. To print several sheets, check them in the Overview and click Print there.
- Excel: click the spreadsheet icon ("Export to Excel") to download a formatted .xlsx of your takeoff quantities, grouped by type (Areas, Linear, Counts, and Volume) with a subtotal for each group and totals for the whole drawing set.
Notes
- •Hidden takeoffs (toggled off with the eye icon) are left out of the PDF export. Hidden sheets are still included.
- •The Excel export includes every takeoff, hidden or not, and is disabled when the project has no takeoffs yet.
