Uploading Drawings

Upload your construction drawings to start a takeoff, one PDF (or image) at a time. Multi-page PDFs are automatically split into individual sheets.

Steps

1. Open the Upload page ("+ New Project" in the header, or the upload icon at the top of the viewer's left sidebar to add sheets to the current project).
2. Drag and drop your file onto the upload zone, or click "Upload a File" to browse.
3. Your file appears in a staged list. Click Confirm to start the upload.
4. For multi-page PDFs, each page becomes a separate sheet, and you're taken to the viewer to begin your takeoff.

Notes

• •Upload one file at a time. If you drop or pick several, only the first is staged and you'll see "Yanno uploads one drawing at a time. Upload the next one from inside the project to add its sheets."
• •Files can be up to 30 MB each. Oversized files are flagged before upload.
• •An account is required to upload. If you're not signed in, your staged file uploads automatically right after you sign in.
• •Uploading from a fresh start creates a new project named after the file. To add more drawings to a project, upload again from inside the project: they are added as new sheets.
• •Your drawings are stored in private storage tied to your account. Other users can't browse or open them in the app.
