Zooming and Panning

Navigate around your floor plan using zoom and pan controls. Multiple methods are available for mouse, trackpad, and keyboard users.

Steps

Zoom in/out: use the mouse scroll wheel, or pinch on a trackpad, or click the +/- buttons in the toolbar (each click zooms by 1.2x).
Pan: right-click and drag, hold Space and drag, or use the Pan tool (P/H). Holding Space keeps a shape you are in the middle of drawing.
Fit to page: press Cmd/Ctrl + 0 or Home, or click the Fit to page button at the right end of the zoom controls in the toolbar, to fit the entire drawing.
Arrow keys: pan the view in any direction. Hold Shift for 5x faster panning.

•The zoom level is shown as a percentage in the toolbar, relative to fit-to-page (fit = 100%). Zoom ranges from 20% to 6400%.
•Two-finger scrolling on a trackpad pans the view. Pinch-to-zoom (or Cmd/Ctrl + scroll) zooms.
•Wheel and pinch zoom are anchored on your cursor: the point under the cursor stays in place as you zoom. The +/- buttons zoom around the center of the view.
