Folders

Organize your takeoffs into folders in the Takeoffs tab for better organization on complex drawings.

Steps

1. Click the "New Folder" button in the Takeoffs tab (left sidebar).
2. Type a name in the inline "Folder name" input and press Enter.
3. Drag takeoff rows into a folder to organize them, or use the row's hover menu: "Move to folder".
4. Click a folder header to expand or collapse it.

Notes

• •AI results are grouped automatically under "Auto Takeoffs"; your manual work lives under "User Takeoffs".
• •The folder's eye icon hides or shows the takeoffs listed directly in it. Grouped rows inside Auto Takeoffs (such as Rooms) have their own eye icon.
• •Takeoffs can be moved between folders by dragging.
• •Clicking a folder header also selects the folder. Pressing Delete then deletes the takeoffs in it, and the folder itself if you created it. When the folder has takeoffs, you're asked to confirm first, and Undo (Cmd/Ctrl + Z) brings them back.
