Deleting Measurements

Remove individual measurements or entire takeoffs from your project.

Shortcut Delete or Backspace

Steps

1. To delete a single measurement: select it on the canvas with the Select tool, then press Delete or Backspace.
2. To delete an entire takeoff: select it in the Takeoffs tab (left sidebar), then press Delete, or use the row's hover menu.
3. To delete multiple measurements: Shift + click or box-select them, then press Delete.

Notes

• •Deleted measurements can be restored with Undo (Cmd/Ctrl + Z).
• •Deleting a takeoff removes all of its measurements from the drawing.
• •If no measurement is selected and the takeoff is no longer highlighted (for example, after you press Escape), Delete shows a reminder instead of removing the whole takeoff.
