AI Door Detection

The AI detects doors on your floor plan, providing both a count and the location of each door. Or choose Takeoff from door schedule to read the sheet's door schedule instead: it counts doors by door type, frame type, and hardware group under a "Door Schedule" subfolder whose header shows the door total. Those markers sit on the schedule table, not on the plan (see Door Schedule Takeoff).

Steps

1. Detected doors appear as count markers (default check-mark symbol) at each detected location.
2. Door count (single / double) splits doors into "Doors (Single)" and "Doors (Double)" takeoffs by the size of each detection: 5 feet or wider counts as a double. Each detection covers the door and the arc drawn beside it on the plan, so a wide single door can land in Doubles.

Notes

• •Door detections also guide room detection: each room stops at its door openings instead of spilling into the next room.
• •Door markers start hidden after each Auto Takeoff run; the counts still show in the takeoff list. Show them with the eye icon, then delete false positives, or add missed doors by selecting the door takeoff in the Takeoffs tab and clicking to place more markers.
